The Education Foundation of Cotati and Rohnert Park
The Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 in response to the reality of dwindling state funds available to support educational excellence in our community. They accomplish this by funding grants submitted by teachers through the school district. Each year, they hold different fundraising efforts.
Middle School Athletic Boosters Club
The Middle School Athletic Boosters Club (MSABC) is a non-profit organization formed in 2003 to support and sustain middle school athletic programs in the Cotati Rohnert Park Unified School District. Middle school athletics provide an important opportunity for our students to develop their physical, social,and emotional skills. The commitment, self discipline, teamwork and emotional maturity developed while participating in athletics are all important skills our students learn.
Project Graduation
You may not have a child in high school, but you too can help keep this program and "our" children alive. Project Graduation is an all night alcohol, drug and tobacco-free party on graduation night for students from Rancho Cotate HighSchool (RCHS), Technology High School, and El Camino/Phoenix HighSchool. In 2015 the first graduating class from Credo High School will be joining us. It's a safe fun environment for students to celebrate their graduation from high school. We have many different things going on in the evening to keep the kids entertained such as a carnival games, casino, beauty room, hypnotist, food, prizes and much, much more. Since Project Graduation has been around there have been no deaths of students on graduation night. It takes a lot of volunteers and money to put this event on, and with the recent economy troubles, raising funds for the event has been difficult.
