Thank you for your patience and support during the construction of our solar project. We know that any disruption to the rhythm of school life, even a temporary one, can be stressful, especially during the morning rush when you are trying to get your child to school and yourself to work. We do not take that lightly, and we want to take a moment to explain what is happening, why it matters, and what you can expect in the weeks and months ahead.

Proposition 28 - Arts and Music in Schools

The measure requires the state to establish a new, ongoing program supporting arts instruction in schools beginning in 2023-24. The Arts Standards is updated for the four arts disciplines - dance, music, theatre, and visual arts and inclusive of media arts (digital imaging, animation, sound production, web design, virtual reality, and interactive design) to reflect the fundamental belief that every child should have equitable access to high-quality, standards-based arts education to thrive and participate in modern society.
