LCAP Goals
LCAP Goals for 2024-25
LCAP Goal 1: CRPUSD will improve instructional outcomes for students and reduce disparities across subgroups so that ALL students experience an excellent, diverse, equitable, and inclusive education that meets their unique needs.
LCAP Goal 2: CRPUSD will create a safe, inclusive and welcoming learning atmosphere that provides a conducive environment that supports social emotional learning for all student scholars and staff.
LCAP Goal 3: CRPUSD will engage parents, families and community partners through education, communication, and collaboration to promote student success.
LCAP Goal 4: CRPUSD will improve academic outcomes for Multilingual Learners.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Marcus Jamal Fields, Ed.L.D.
Dr. Fields has been an educator for over 27 years, dedicated to making learning joyful and relevant for underserved youth. He began his education career as a snowboard instructor in Olympic Valley California and never forgot the power of true engagement in the learning process. As a classroom teacher at Malcolm X Academy and Golden Gate Elementary schools in San Francisco, he centered instruction on real world learning in preparation for outdoor excursions to Yosemite and the Point Reyes National Seashore and his students thrived. He served as the principal for five different schools and then went on to become an Associate Superintendent, supporting site leadership teams at several charter schools in Oakland. He has held roles outside of the school system helping to develop innovative new school models while working for NewSchools Venture Fund and serving at risk youth during the out of school time as the VP of Clubhouses and High School Programs at the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Peninsula. Jamal also served as the Executive Director of iMentor Bay Area, a nonprofit focused on supporting first generation college going students and as the Chief Academic Officer at Life Learning Academy. Jamal holds a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential, an Administrative Services Credential, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz, a Masters degree in Education from UC Berkeley and a Doctoral degree in Education Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is a proud husband and father of three amazing daughters, he lives in Santa Rosa and is enjoying all of the outdoor recreational opportunities the area has to offer.
