In compliance with EPA & AHERA

In compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), inspections were performed in the spring of 1998 on each of our schools for building materials containing asbestos. The inspection findings and the asbestos management plans have been on file at each school site and at the District Office since that time.

As required by AHERA, a 3-year reinspection was last completed in 2022. That report is in the school's Asbestos Management Plan and is available for public review at all school offices during normal school hours.

Asbestos inspections are performed on a regular basis in compliance with regulations. The next inspection is scheduled for 2025.
