Consultant Specialist

Master Contract for Independent Contractors

Purpose: This form is used when a school or department contracts with a non-employee to perform functions that would otherwise be performed by an employee. Examples include: diabetic nurses, speech therapists, garden consultants, other enrichment consultants.

Process: All out of district consultants are approved in turn by the site/department, Business Services, and the Board of Trustees. The complete application includes the Out of District Consultant Form and an agreement outlining terms and a W9. In order for the consultant to receive payment, they must submit an invoice. The site is the main point of contact for the contractor and is responsible for obtaining contract signatures, invoices, creating a requisition.
